Considerations before installing

When the duct is deflated the fabric will hang straight down 1.5 times the diameter of the duct.

A 16” diameter duct when deflated will hang down 24”.

Installation of cable

Check all components on the included parts list. If components are missing, contact FabricAir, Inc. immediately.

Anchoring hardware should be provided by the installer.

Before Starting connecting the duct sections

Unpack all the sections and place them on a clean surface (mat/sheet).

In order to keep the FabricAir® Zip-a-Duct™ clean, handle the ducts with clean hands. Make sure that tools which might touch the ducts are cleaned.

When installing in new buildings, the air handling systems should be purged and the prefilter system installed, before FabricAir ducts are installed. This is done to remove dust, which would otherwise be collected in the FabricAir® Zip-a-Duct™.
